We proudly present together with Studium Generale TU Delft the third edition of this philosophy, technology & art festival, which takes place exclusively in Delft. During the festival you can immerse yourself with talks by different philosophers, workshops and of course with a bite and a drink.

For Love of the World is part festival, part lab, part sanctuary. This year we invite you to dive deep into our digital world with a new perspective: as a space for connection, love, resistance, and hope.

We live in a hyper-normalised digital world that extracts our data, hijacks our attention, and blurs the boundary between private life and corporate power. Our inner worlds are entangled with digital systems. Will we accept a life of automated obedience and echo chambers that isolate and weaken us?

The digital realm doesn’t have to control us. It can become a space to rethink how we feel, act, love, live - and resist. How can we create a digital universe built on love, connection, and creativity rather than surveillance and manipulation?

Digital Revolt

Digital Revolt explores new forms of love, autonomy, and intelligence between people, machines, data, the earth, and corporations—imagining technology as care, play, experimentation, and imagination.

Tickets for the 'For Love of the World' festival grant access to all programs offered during the event and are available online through this website. There are discounted tickets available for students.

Studium Generale (SG) at TU Delft offers inspiring programs at the intersection of science, technology, art, and society. Through lectures, debates, films, and performances, visitors are challenged to deepen their understanding, engage in dialogue, and experience wonder.

Mission

Studium Generale creates space for reflection and critical thinking, both within and outside the university. The vision is that academic development goes beyond merely acquiring knowledge: it also involves social engagement, ethical considerations, and the ability to think outside existing frameworks.SG's programs are accessible to students, TU staff, and other interested parties. Everyone with a curious mind is warmly welcome.
